As the Superintendent of Education communicated at the end of April, E.J. Sand Public School will be temporarily relocating to 21 Mullen Drive, in Vaughan, while a replacement school is rebuilt at our current location.
Our staff have already begun preparing for a seamless transition to our new location, which is larger in size, has the equivalent of two full size gymnasiums and will provide us with the necessary space to support our students.
While there is some work that will be completed on the school to bring the building in line with York Region District standards (phones, IT, signage) over the summer months, we are excited to offer families the opportunity to tour part of the new building and the beautiful school yard on Tuesday, June 12, from 5pm – 7pm.
I am looking forward to welcoming our families on June 12th.
